Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A fire broke out at a closed factory in Katlia Project area under Domjur police station in Howrah on Tuesday around 9 AM. Local residents first spotted the flames and immediately informed Domjur police and the fire brigade. Two fire engines reached the location shortly after and began operations to control the blaze. The factory, which had been non-functional, was reportedly locked at the time of the incident.
Domjur police and fire officials have begun an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. As of now, no casualties or injuries have been reported. Authorities are yet to confirm the extent of damage inside the premises. The surrounding area has been secured as a precautionary measure.
